Native Brit Dominic Dare has been at the forefront of the international stock footage business for over 20 years. Most in the industry know him for his integral part in transforming London's International Television News archive (ITN) into an international behemoth, eventually relocating to the United States in the early 1990s where he created and led their entire North American outlet. Focusing primarily on network-level deals for stock footage, ITN Source gradually became a powerhouse in the clip content world with exclusive contracts for ITV clips, Reuters and Fox News, amongst others. In 2010, looking for a new challenge, Dominic co-founded Strawberry Media which has now created an online video distribution network forFortune 500 companies. In 2012, Dominic came back to the footage industry and was hired by Zodiak Media to launch an archive outlet for the thousands of hours of their produced content. In 2015, he and his London partner, Sandra Coehlo, left Zodiak to form their own unique transcontinental clip agency -- LOLA Clips -- Sandra remaining in London, and Dominic staying in Los Angeles. LOLA Clips has been one of the few footage agencies to pioneer aerial drone footage and now LOLA is one of the key footage agencies in the business representing ITV and STUDIOCANAL with offices in London, Los Angeles and Sydney.
L.A. Native Steve Kozak has been one of the industry's top clip producers for over 20 years. Starting in local news, Steve joined "Hard Copy" as an assignment editor where he spent three years before being recruited to its spin-off series, "Real TV", where he spent an additional four years as its Domestic News Editor. He then joined "Whose Line is it Anyway?" where he produced their "News Flash / Green Screen" segment for three seasons. After several stints as a segment producer ("You Gotta See This", "Whacked Out Sports" and Dick Clark's "Bloopers" franchise), he began a 10-year run at "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" as a Clip Producer, where he supervised all of the show's clearance, and procured footage for the monologue and comedy segments, as well as "Before They Were Famous" clips for the show's guests. He also co-created the show's highly-popular "Dealing with the Public" segment, for which he was honored by the National Emergency Number Association (NENA) for "Educating the American Public through Humor". After Jay Leno's retirement in February 2014, he stayed on with "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" as a consultant through April, when he was offered a full-time position at "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", where he currently serves as Director of Research and Clearances.
Steve lives in Santa Clarita with his wife and seven children.
Now in it’s 4th year, FootageFest has become a permanent fixture in the calendar for the Footage Industry. It’s where the users and providers of video content convene in the content capital of the world, Los Angeles, CA. This year we are delivering a long-held dream to have our event by the beach. This is not any old beach….. this is our own private beach! The event will be held at the Jamaica Bay Inn at Marina Del Rey, CA.
If you didn’t attend our last ‘in-person’ event in Hollywood watch this reel to get a feel of what’s coming in 2022
“There is so much about the inaugural Footage Fest that was so good. The panels, screenings, and vendor exhibits were of a high caliber, and the indoor / outdoor atmosphere was refreshing and comfortable. Being in LA gave those of us based in New York and New England the opportunity to meet in person colleagues we’d known electronically for years, and the mix of so many folks from the UK and both coasts of the US added a welcome hybrid vigor to the
archival family. The immersive weekend length of the event made it a much more bonding experience. Once I’ve rested up, I’m ready to do it again”

“FootageFest was a great success. The opportunity to
meet so many sellers and licensors in one place is a
great service to the community. Nothing beats face to
face. I was able to meet vendors from across the pond
that I’ve done business with throughout the years and
forge a more personal business relationship and met
new sellers to properly explain exactly what is required
for deliverables and licenses in my profession. I now
have new vendors to work with. The event was cheerful
and informative- especially the panels. A good time had
